Solar do Sal is a boutique guesthouse set beside the Salinas de Rio Maior — the ancient inland salt flats that have produced fleur de sel for more than eight centuries.
Behind a sun-warmed terracotta facade you will find seven rooms and suites, a pool framed by water features, an indoor jacuzzi and Turkish steam room, and a glass conservatory where the morning begins quietly with breakfast.
